For instance, our super high quality commercial grade convection microwave died after 14 years. No stores carried this size microwave in the convection version, convection means you can cook like an oven. We ended up searching ebay and buying a replacement used microwave. A month, five phone calls, and ten emails later, we returned that microwave and got another one in. The second microwave was great but it was much larger than it should have been. We thought we got off cheap only to discover the faucet couldn't handle the wierd and varied kinds of water from all the different sources all over the country in different campgrounds. It only lasted a short while. Keep in mind that many household parts from hardware stores are not as high quality and are often not the right size for use in a bus. Many times it pays to just order from an on-line internet based bus parts store. You can also contact your manufacturer if your bus is older and they will often have hard-to-find items you can purchase on a one-by-one basis.
